'I want to create an amorphous, Spiderman-like figure, that echoes music videos, toys and movies.'

'I'm interested in entering into a close relationship with the architecture, as opposed to creating an autonomous sculpture. I chose to let the sculpture crawl under the skin of the structure. The boundaries thus get blurred and it is not immediately obvious where the sculpture starts and the building ends.'

'I want to use the texture, color, dimensions and the rhythm of the brickwork and let it resonate in the sculpture. The texture of the brick wall will become the skin of the Spiderman figure. The figure almost comes bursting out of the school building and becomes an independent figure that seems to be crawling up the wall. I think it is interesting to include the protruding eaves in the sculpture; the figure actually clings to it.
A brick wall thus morphs into an organic sculpture.'
